USA Badminton is officially recognized as the National Governing Body for the sport of badminton in the United States of America by the following organizations:

• United States Olympic Committee

• Pan American Badminton Confederation

Five regional associations are recognized by USA Badminton:

• Region 1 - Northeast Badminton Association (NBA)
• Region 2 - Midwest Badminton Association (MBA)
• Region 3 - Southern Badminton Association (SBA)
• Region 4 - Northwest Badminton Association (NWBA)
• Region 5 - Southwest Badminton Association (SWBA)
